Formed in late 2018 with members spanning from a number of different bands across Melbourne’s diverse music scenes, Hydra Fashion Week have quickly established themselves as a lightning-rod live band from a handful of shows, described by The Music as “indescribable” and “unbelievable”. Manic and tightly-wound, they splutter a sound known colloquially as “jazzy-cyber-punk”.
